What is the Asia Leadership Program?

The Asia Leadership Program aims to produce a critical mass of leaders as changes agents who will incorporate innovative solutions for climate change and sustainable development in their policies and development programs, and at the same time promote the sharing of innovative knowledge solutions. 


What are the activities? 

The Asia Leadership Program organizes the following learning activties for the participants: 

1. Annual Programs - are yearly face to face learning events held in various cities in Asia aimed to provide hands-on learning sessions and actual field visits; 

2. Community of Leaders - is a vritual community that allows the members to engage, discuss, and share their knowledge and experience among its peers;

3. Knowledge Sharing Series - is a series of activities aimed to engage the members of the community of leaders to share their expertise and on-the-ground experience on various topics;

4. E-Learning - is an online learning facility that allows users to access e-modules with specific themes aimed at raising awareness on critical issues and challenges, strategic policies, and regional impacts on climate change and sustainable development.


Who are the target learners? 

The program targets key policy makers and technical officers who are emerging leaders committed to sustainable development and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
It also targets environment advocates, members of the civil society, the academe and those interested or engaged in sustainable development and climate change work.
